Crystals & Colour

Colour plays an important part in identifying crystals and how they can benefit us. Identifying colours with crystals is based on the ancient Eastern philosophy of The Chakra System, which denotes seven spinning, coloured energy wheels that run directly down the centre of our bodies.

Colour comes about due to the metallic elements found in our earth. Copper creates green, magnesium purple, manganese brown, Lapis Lazuli blue etc. The most important factor of colour is sunlight – regardless of the metallic elements, colour cannot be viewed without light, so light is an integral part if viewing colour and causing crystals to vibrate.
